Each participating country, which currently has more than 85 in the world, is represented by a national trade management committee in that country. IAESTE Ireland is managed by the Leergas Exchange Bureau and supported by the Ministry of Education and Science. Ireland has been a member of the IAESTE network since 1962 and several hundred Irish students have gained significant professional experience and cultural awareness through their participation in the programme.
